 Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has announced the RRB Group D Recruitment 2024. This recruitment drive aims to fill approximately 32,000 vacancies across various railway zones in India.

 Important Dates:

• Notification Release Date: Between 28th December 2024 and 3rd January 2025.
• Start of Online Application: 23rd January 2025.
• Last Date to Apply: 22nd February 2025 (11:59 PM).

Vacancy Details:

• Post Name: Various Posts in Level 1.
• Total Vacancies: Approximately 32,000.
• Qualification Required: 10th Pass or ITI.

Detailed post-wise and category-wise vacancy distribution will be provided in Annexure A of the official CEN 08/2024. Special vacancies are reserved for CCAA Apprentices trained in Railway establishments.

 Eligibility Criteria:

• Educational Qualification: The minimum educational qualification varies by post. Candidates should refer to Annexure A of the detailed CEN 08/2024 for specific requirements.
• Age Limit (as of 1st July 2025):
  • Minimum Age: 18 years.
  • Maximum Age: 36 years.
  • Age relaxation:
    • OBC: 3 years.
    • SC/ST: 5 years.

Application Fee:

• General/OBC Candidates: ₹500 (₹400 will be refunded upon appearing for the CBT).
• SC/ST/EBC/Female/Transgender Candidates: ₹250 (full amount will be refunded upon appearing for the CBT).

The refund will be processed after deducting applicable bank charges.

 Selection Process:

1. Computer-Based Test (CBT):
   • The test will be conducted online.
   • Subjects include General Awareness, Mathematics, and General Intelligence & Reasoning.
2. Physical Efficiency Test (PET):
   • Specific physical requirements must be met depending on the post.
3. Document Verification (DV):
   • Verification of eligibility and authenticity of submitted documents.
4. Medical Examination:
   • Candidates must meet the medical standards as prescribed in Para 3.0 of the CEN.

2. Click on the CEN 08/2024 application link.
3. Register using a valid email ID and mobile number.
4. Fill in the application form and upload the necessary documents.
5. Pay the application fee through online payment modes or SBI E-Challan.
6. Submit the form and take a printout for reference.
