CISF Constable Driver Recruitment 2025

Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) announced a recruitment drive for Constable Driver positions. They are looking to fill 1,124 vacancies. The application process starts on February 3, 2025, and ends on March 4, 2025.

Vacancy Details:

Constable/Driver: 845 posts
Constable/Driver-Cum-Pump Operator (Driver for Fire Services): 279 posts

Eligibility Criteria:

Education: Candidates must have completed 10th grade (Matriculation) from a recognized board.
Driving License: Applicants should possess a valid driving license for:
- Heavy Motor Vehicle or Transport Vehicle
- Light Motor Vehicle
- Motorcycle with gear
Experience: A minimum of 3 years of driving experience in the above-mentioned vehicles is required.

Age Limit:

Applicants should be between 21 and 27 years old as of March 4, 2025. Age relaxations are applicable as per government norms.

Physical Standards:

Height:
- For General, SC, EWS, and OBC candidates: 167 cm
- For Gorkhas and others: 160 cm
- For ST candidates: 160 cm
Chest:
- For General, SC, EWS, and OBC candidates: 80-85 cm
- For Gorkhas and others: 78-83 cm
- For ST candidates: 76-81 cm

Physical Efficiency Test (PET):

Running: 800 meters in 3 minutes and 15 seconds
Long Jump: 11 feet (3 attempts)
High Jump: 3 feet 6 inches (3 attempts)

Selection Process:

Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standards Test (PST): Assess physical fitness and measurements.
Documentation: Verification of educational and other relevant documents.
Trade Test: Evaluation of driving skills.
Written Examination: Objective type questions to assess general knowledge and aptitude.
Medical Examination: Ensure medical fitness of the candidates.

General, EWS, and OBC candidates: ₹100
SC/ST candidates: No fee
