 Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has announced the RRB Group D Recruitment 2025, offering approximately 32,000 vacancies across various railway zones. This recruitment aims to fill positions in Level-1 of the 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC) Matrix. The online application process commenced on January 23, 2025, and will conclude on February 22, 2025.

• Pointsman-B: 5,058 posts
• Assistant (Track Machine): 799 posts
• Assistant (Bridge): 301 posts
• Track Maintainer Gr. IV: 13,187 posts
• Assistant P-Way: 257 posts
• Assistant (C&W): 2,587 posts
• Assistant TRD: 1,381 posts
• Assistant (S&T): 2,012 posts
• Assistant Loco Shed (Diesel): 420 posts
• Assistant Loco Shed (Electrical): 950 posts
• Assistant Operations (Electrical): 744 posts
• Assistant TL & AC: 1,041 posts
• Assistant TL & AC (Workshop): 624 posts
• Assistant (Workshop) (Mechanical): 3,077 posts

  RRB Eligibility Criteria:

• Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed Class 10 or possess an ITI qualification from a recognized institution.

   Age Limit: Applicants should be between 18 and 36 years of age as of July 1, 2025. Age relaxations are applicable for candidates from reserved categories.
•  Application Fee:

• General/OBC/EWS Candidates: ₹500 (₹400 refunded upon appearing in the CBT)

• SC/ST/PWD/Ex-Servicemen/Female/Minorities/Economically Backward Classes: ₹250 (fully refunded upon appearing in the CBT)

   Selection Process:

1. Computer-Based Test (CBT): A written examination assessing candidates' knowledge and aptitude.

2. Physical Efficiency Test (PET): Candidates who qualify the CBT will undergo a physical fitness test.

3. Document Verification: Verification of original documents to confirm eligibility.

4. Medical Examination: A final medical check-up to ensure candidates meet health standards.

• Notification Release Date: December 28, 2024

• Online Application Start Date: January 23, 2025

• Last Date to Apply: February 22, 2025

• Application Fee Payment: February 23 to 24, 2025

• Application Correction Window: February 25 to March 6, 2025

    Preparation Tips:

• Understand the Syllabus: The CBT will cover subjects such as Mathematics, General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Science, and General Awareness & Current Affairs.

• Practice Regularly: Solve previous years' question papers and take mock tests to improve speed and accuracy.

• Stay Updated: Keep abreast of current affairs and general knowledge topics.

• Physical Fitness: Prepare for the PET by engaging in regular physical exercises to meet the required standards.

Salary and Benefits:

Selected candidates will be appointed in Level-1 of the 7th CPC Pay Matrix, with a starting basic pay of ₹18,000 per month. In addition to the basic pay, employees are entitled to various allowances and benefits as per government norms.
