Union Bank of India announced 2,691 Apprentice positions

 Union Bank of India announced a recruitment drive for 2,691 Apprentice positions under the Apprentices Act, 1961. The online application process began on the same day and will continue until March 5, 2025.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Educational Qualification: Candidates must have completed a bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university or institute. The graduation must have been completed on or after April 1, 2021.
• Age Limit: Applicants should be between 20 and 28 years of age as of February 1, 2025. Age relaxation is applicable as per government norms.
   Application Process:

1. Registration: Visit the official Union Bank of India website and navigate to the "Careers" section. Click on the "Apply Online" link under Apprentice Recruitment 2025.
2. Application Form: Complete the registration process to generate login credentials. Log in and fill out the application form with accurate personal and educational details.
3. Document Upload: Upload scanned copies of required documents, including a recent passport-sized photograph, signature, Aadhaar card (front and back), and PAN card.
4. Application Fee Payment: Pay the non-refundable application fee online using Net Banking, Debit/Credit Card, or UPI. The fee structure is as follows:
   • General/OBC/EWS: ₹800
   • SC/ST/Female Candidates: ₹600
   • PwBD Candidates: ₹400
5. Submission: Review the application form for accuracy and submit it. Save a copy for future reference.
    Selection Process:

The selection process comprises:

1. Online Examination: An objective test covering General/Financial Awareness, General English, Quantitative & Reasoning Aptitude, and Computer Knowledge. The exam consists of 100 questions, each carrying one mark, with a total duration of 60 minutes.
2. Knowledge and Test of Local Language: Assessment of the candidate's proficiency in the local language of the respective state.
3. Waitlist: Preparation of a waitlist based on performance in the online examination and language test.
4. Medical Examination: Final medical fitness test before appointment.
    Stipend Details:

• Metro/Urban Branches: ₹15,000 per month
• Rural/Semi-Urban Branches: ₹12,000 per month
